The first book was amazing it sets the story and fills us in on the history of Katniss Evergreen. The second book - has a twist in it that you dont see coming. The whole momentum of the story got slowed right down in the third book, the last couple of chapters in book 3 "Mockingjay" had me shedding tears for sure but she finally gets her happiness. I always enjoy reading a book that forces the reader to think deeper than what is simply on paper, and Suzanne Collins has mastered that with these books. The story is advertised as YA, but that doesn't mean it's suitable only for young adults.

It's one of the best novels to share with young people, a story that they will remember long after they have finished it.
